SAN HOLDINGS dates back to the 1932 inception of a company called KOEKISHA. The company became SAN HOLDINGS in 2004 due to the transition to a holding company structure. Currently, our group has three funeral services companies: KOEKISHA CO., LTD., (newly established by a divestiture when the holding company structure started), SOU-SEN CORPORATION and TARUI CO., LTD. Our group also includes EXCEL SUPPORT SERVICE CO., LTD., which provides essential services associated with funerals, and Life Forward CO., LTD., which operates a portal site for end-of-life services. Our group performs more than 10,000 funerals every year.

Our shares were listed on the second section of the Osaka Securities Exchange in 1994, 10 years before the transition to a holding company. This made us Japan's first publicly owned funeral company. Today, we are one and only one of Japan's approximately 5,000 funeral companies with a Tokyo Stock Exchange Prime section listing.

We will provide funerals that reflect the distinctive characteristics of the deceased and the needs of the family while retaining our long-standing dedication to ensuring that funerals fulfill their fundament role. In addition, we provide a variety of support and services needed for the senior generation during the final stage of life.
